Hello everyone, Im new to this site and the proud owner of a new 09 Raider S. I want to make some upgrades to my bikes exhuast, but want a deep throaty sound, not deafening. Any recommendations? I kinda like the looks of the V & H 2-into-2 swept, but not sure if they will have that deep rumble. Thanks

Welcome tothe forum and especially to the ranks of Raider owners.

Pipes get changed for various combinations of three things: Looks, sound, performance improvement. Depending upon how much of what you want to have, your personal tastes, and your budget the recommendation would be different.

For performance improvement without any other mods, it appears the V&H 2-1 Big Radius seems to be leading the pack. They also score high in the looks department, but my favorite there are the Cobra Speedster Swept. The sound from both is roughly equivalent. They civilize the big twin without choking it.

My personal choice was the swepts. The rumble is fine with me and appreciated by my hot-rodding friends. They also take advantage of the 2-1-2 design for a nice boost in torque and I love the way they look on the Raider.
