I'm sorry, I don't have any information on Raw Design's blinkers. Maybe someone else will have installed those.

I have Custome Dynamics LED's wraped around my fork tubes and they are super BRIGHT and discrete! I've actually had riders stop me because without them on, they couldn't find them. The statement, "I know you have blinkers . . . I saw them at the last turn, but where are they?" It is really cool. They also sell ones with chrome around them, but unfortunately, they won't fit our tubes. You need a load equalizer to run them as blinkers and they also sell a component so that you can run them as running lights, but I didn't choose to do that. The hardest part of my installation was heating the LED strips enough to get them to conform. Good luck!

Idbaize, what type of LEDs did you put on. They have so many different types to choose from its hard to pick one. Any details would be great!

The item number is #4000-22 and they are called flexible LED Array. They are very bright and I like wrapping them around the fork tube because you almost get a 360 degree view. Because they are clear when not on, they almost disapear. I personally just like them better than the raw design, but thats what makes everyone's bike unique. Somewhere on the website, there was a picture of the owners bike with them on, or I could try getting better pictures of mine for you.
I also installed the #CL009 integrated tail light, but had those installed at my local motorcycle shop because the circuit board has to be cut out and the lense glued back together. There are 32 red LED's in contrast to the 16 on the OEM stock one and the amber lights in the blinkers actually shift in the direction of the turn which is just a nice added bling. These two lights really clean up the bike. Check them out and let me know what you decide.

Idbaize, Tell me just what you ordered.
Did you get one or two load equalizer and did you order that 3M automotive applicator? Do the LEDs wrap around all the way or do they go around more than one time (like in the picture)?

I will get the CD rear light later this year but for now I am going to get the front LEDs. If it isn't to much trouble a picture would be great!!!
Thanks for your imput!

order numbers are on my last responce. I ordered one load equalizer for the front blinkers (I don't have the order number for that, but Custom Dynamics will let you know which one. They almost wrap all the way around, but not quite. They came with the double sided tape already attached. I will try to get pictures of mine for you.

Idbaize,
Got mine on the bike yesterday! Man what a difference it makes!! Got one more question, at least one more! Where does the load equalizer go? "They" talk about mounting it under the seat on the frame because it gets hot. Does this mean I need to trace the wiring from the lights to the frame under the seat?? Or is there another way?? Thanks

I put mine in the headlight bucket, but you could put it under the seat if you want, just would take more wire to run it that far, so I put it behind the light.

I hope you wraped it in something because those things get HOT quick and can melt wires especially in the headlight. The good ones come sealed in a rubber housing. Hopefully thats what you got..

Thanks for looking out for us, but we did get a good one and took precautions. I'm just glad folks are beginning to talk on this forum.

What did you do for the front marker light????? Down here we have to have a marker light on the front along with the turn signal!

That Sux! We don't have to have a marker light in Colorado, BUT you can set these up where they are on all the time and only blink when used as blinkers. (of course they are amber and very bright) If you talk to Custom Dynamics, I'm sure they also make the same light strip with clear bulbs and you could just mount both to the fork tube and run the clear as marker lights. Good luck.

Idbaize, Stokeman here again. Do you remember just how you wired up the load eq. I have tried several different wires and can not get the load eq. to function. I have one wire from the load eq. on one of the the blinker wires (brown) and one on the other (green) and the black one from the load eq. on one of the balck wire of the blinker. Can you tell me how you did yours?

I have also got to do the CD integrated tail light load eq. Without it, the blinker works sometimes (real fast) and sometimes it sticks on, other times the blinker will flash fast and them freeze in the on position when I apply the brakes. Anybody with any good advice, it sure would be appreciated!!!!!!

I am using the metric load eq. from CD. It's got two purple wires and one black one. It's a GEN=7.5-30

The integrated tail light flashes quickly (to get attention) then burns bright with the brake. Amber flashes left and right with blinker. I did not purchase a seperate equalizer for the tail light. The equalizer I purchased for the front blinkers was Item #EDFR - DOT Flasher Relay for 19.95. It has been a long time since I installed so I don't remember the exact wireing. Sorry.

After calling and emailing CUSTOM DYNAMICS I finally got the answer I was looking for. I guest I did not realize that you had to have both load equlizers (front and reat) hooked up before they would function properly. When I say properly, I mean they still blink fast, it just dosen't come on on one side and stay on. That was my biggest concern anyway. Was I the only dump arse that thought you could do just the front or just the back.
